Drowning Pool
Drowning Pool is an American rock band that formed in Dallas, Texas in 1996. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Dave Williams, guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce. The band burst onto the hard rock scene in 2001 with their debut album, "Sinner." The album's lead single, "Bodies," became a major hit and has since been used in various media outlets.
Tragically, in 2002, Williams was found dead while on tour due to a heart condition. Despite the devastating loss, the band decided to continue, recruiting Jason Jones as their new vocalist. With Jones, they released the album "Desensitized" in 2004.
Jones left the band in 2005, and Ryan McCombs took over as lead vocalist. With McCombs, they released two albums: "Full Circle" (2007) and "Drowning Pool" (2010). However, McCombs departed in 2011, and the band brought in Jasen Moreno as their new lead singer. Moreno has been with the band since then, and they've released two more albums: "Resilience" (2013) and "Hellelujah" (2016).
Throughout their career, Drowning Pool has faced adversity and lineup changes, but they've consistently produced hard-hitting rock music. Their high-energy performances and heartfelt lyrics have earned them a dedicated fan base.
