Their debut album, "Fistful of Metal," was released in 1984, but it was their third studio album, "Among The Living" in 1987, that solidified their reputation in the thrash metal scene. This album produced several of their best-known songs, including "Caught in a Mosh" and "I Am the Law."
Anthrax's lineup has seen several changes over the years, with Scott Ian being the only constant member. Other notable members include lead vocalist Joey Belladonna, who has been in and out of the band since 1984, and drummer Charlie Benante, who joined in 1983.
