What does it mean to be on a waitlist?
A waitlist is used when an event or ticket type is not currently on sale or is sold out (e.g., during a pre-sale or for a sold-out event). The promoter and Jampack may choose to use a waitlist to offer tickets that are not currently available to the general public. By joining, you're signaling your interest in obtaining a ticket should one become available; however, joining the waitlist does not guarantee that a ticket will become available or that you will receive one.
Please note: Joining in a waitlist and any resulting ticket purchases are governed by Jampack’s Event Ticket Purchase Policy and are subject to its terms and conditions, including refund, cancellation, and transfer rules.
How much does it cost to get on the waitlist?
For sold-out event ticket types, joining the waitlist is generally a free service.
- Payment Authorization: When you join, you provide a zero-dollar ($0.00) credit card authorization. We hold this authorization solely to secure your position in line.
- Charging: We will only charge your payment method if an Event Ticket becomes available and is allocated to you.
The process for charging your card varies by event:
- (a) Automatic Charge: Your card may be charged automatically the moment an Event Ticket becomes available and is allocated to you.
- (b) Notification-Based Charge: You may be notified that a ticket is available and your card will only be charged after you confirm your acceptance of the ticket. You may be given a specific time period within which to confirm. If you do not respond within the allotted time, you will forfeit the opportunity to purchase or receive the ticket.
The specific charging process will be disclosed during the Waitlist registration or allocation process. For example, certain high-demand ticket types may be automatically processed without prior notice, while others may require your confirmation.
Ticket prices and applicable service fees in effect at the time of allocation will apply to all waitlist purchases.
Am I guaranteed to get a ticket if I'm on the waitlist?
No. Joining the waitlist secures your spot in line, but it does not guarantee that tickets will become available at a later date.
How many tickets can I request for the waitlist?
The maximum number of waitlist tickets you can request varies by event. Please use the quantity toggle to select your desired number of tickets when submitting your request.
Is there a layaway plan for waitlist tickets?
Currently, no. Layaway is not available for waitlist tickets. Your payment method will be charged the full price at the time of purchase.
When can I expect a ticket to be offered once I'm on the waitlist?
Waitlist tickets are released as they become available. Once a ticket is available, you may be notified that a ticket is being offered to you. Depending on the event, one of the following may occur:
- Automatic Purchase: Your saved payment method will be charged automatically for the number of tickets allocated to you. You will receive an email confirmation at the email address used during sign-up.
- Confirmation Required: You may be given a specific time period, and notified via the email address used during sign-up, to confirm your acceptance of the ticket offer. If you confirm within that time, your saved payment method will be charged, and you will receive an email confirmation at the email address used during sign-up. If you do not respond within that time, the offer will expire, and you will forfeit the opportunity to purchase the ticket.
Can I cancel my waitlist request if I change my mind, or can't attend?
You may be permitted to remove yourself from a waitlist or decline an offered ticket prior to being charged, depending on the specific waitlist rules for that event.

Can I cancel my ticket once the automatic purchase occurs or if I confirm I want the ticket?
Once your ticket has been automatically purchased or you have confirmed your acceptance of a ticket offer, the sale is final and cannot be canceled, refunded, or transferred.
Can I update my shipping address or email address after I make my waitlist request?
