X Ambassadors
X Ambassadors is an American rock band, formed in 2009 by brothers Sam and Casey Harris, along with their childhood friend Noah Feldshuh. Originally from Ithaca, New York, the trio began their journey under the name 'Ambassadors', later adding the 'X' to their moniker. Their music is a dynamic fusion of rock, pop, and electronic elements.
Sam, the band's lead vocalist, also plays guitar and keyboard. Casey, who was born blind, contributes with keyboards, synthesizers, and backing vocals. Noah plays guitar, and Adam Levin, who joined the band in 2012, is on drums.
X Ambassadors gained recognition after their song 'Litost' was included in a playlist by Imagine Dragons' frontman, Dan Reynolds. This led to their signing with Interscope Records and KIDinaKORNER. Their debut full-length album, 'VHS', was released in 2015 and included the platinum-selling singles 'Renegades' and 'Unsteady'. 'Renegades' topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and was used in a Jeep commercial, significantly boosting their popularity.
The band is known for their energetic live performances and their commitment to social and political issues. They released their second studio album, 'Orion', in 2019. X Ambassadors continue to push boundaries with their genre-blending sound and heartfelt storytelling.
