Jon B

Jon B, born Jonathan David Buck on November 11, 1974, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. His musical career took off in the mid-1990s, blending R&B with an urban contemporary style.

Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Jon B developed a love for music at a young age, inspired by his musician father. After learning to play several instruments and writing songs in his teens, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career.

In 1995, he released his debut studio album, "Bonafide," which achieved Platinum status, led by the popular single 'Someone to Love' featuring Babyface. His second album, "Cool Relax," released in 1997, remains his most successful to date, featuring two of his biggest hits, 'They Don't Know' and 'Are U Still Down.'

Despite experiencing less commercial success in the 2000s, Jon B has remained a respected figure in the R&B scene. He continues to write, produce, and perform music, contributing to the soundtracks of several films and collaborating with a range of artists.
