Chatham County Line

Chatham County Line is an American bluegrass musical group formed in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1999. The band's lineup consists of Dave Wilson (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica), John Teer (mandolin, fiddle, vocals), Chandler Holt (banjo, guitar, vocals), and Greg Readling (bass, pedal steel, piano, vocals). Their music is a blend of bluegrass, folk, and country, often characterized by poignant songwriting and tight harmonies.

Chatham County Line's debut self-titled album was released in 2003. They gained recognition for their traditional playing style, performing around a single, large condenser microphone while in concert. Their second album, "Route 23", came out in 2005 and shed light on the issues of rural life, further expanding their fan base.

Over the years, the band has released nine studio albums, with their latest one, "Strange Fascination", released in 2020. This album marked a shift in their sound, incorporating more elements of pop and rock. Despite evolving their sound, the band remains true to their bluegrass roots.
